Therapeutic Services
We believe that our mental health is as important as our physical health. There are phases in our lives that we only need an annual check-up. Other times, when an adjustment must be made, several follow-up visits are needed. We also understand that different methods must be used during various life stages. As a result, we offer the following services.
Individual Therapy for Children
Our work with children is based on developmentally appropriate interventions that focus on emotional and/or behavioral issues with tools that include media, toys, and play.
Individual Therapy for Teens
Adolescents and teens often feel invisible or unseen. We partner you parents to discover what your teen is facing. We work with teens about transitions, self-esteem, anxiety, depression, grief, educational-related diagnosis like ADHD, academic deficiencies, IEP's, and instructional responses to intervention.
Individual Therapy for Adults
There are times that ADULTING or life comes at you fast! Let us help you sort out the pieces of your life puzzle. We will work together to gain deeper insight into your current life stressors, barriers, events/circumstances, relationships, or just need to talk.
Couples Therapy
Are you feeling estranged or disconnected from your partner? We know that relationships can be complicated and complex. Life's transitions can cause stress on the healthiest relationships.

Juanessa Booker, LPC, EdD is a Licensed Professional Counselor as well as an educator and speaker. I believe that therapy is for everyone, not just a privileged few.
I believe that words are powerful and we have what we say. You can tell what you have been saying, by looking at the type of fruit that you are producing in your life. Your words have the power to enable you to create the life you dream about.
