All services are on a contribution basis. GTM is entirely supported by your gifts. The Fair Market Value (FMV) of a service is determined by what one would expect to pay others to receive such services. The FMV of the following services are as follows:

  3.   PARENT SKILL DEVELOPMENT TRAINING (12 Weeks, 40 hours)

         Initial contact is cost-free. Subscription is $60 for first installment and five

         equal payments of $60. Checks are payable to Grace Tabernacle Church as

         'Consultation'.  Sessions are with one or both parents and may include visits at

         school or elsewhere with the child for whom consultation is given.

          Twice weekly meetings not to exceed  one and a half hours each. 

          Total consultation time shall not exceed forty hours regardless of the number

          of weeks.  Forty hours of instructions in a 'seminar/workshop' milieu is thought

          determined sufficient to teach parents the essential communication skills and

          discipline strategies necessary to resolve the issues being addressed.

          Consultations are conducted wherever the parent(s) so desire.  Sessions may

         be held at home, the family's church with consent of the pastor, the parent

          work site if convenient, or in a community location offering privacy.            

     

       This training is instructional and interactive with the parent. The focus is to build 

        strategies in the areas of communication skills, discipline techniques, problem

        resolution and contract writing.  The ultimate aim is to reduce anxiety of the

        parents by teaching them effective strategies.  Unlike secular, non-christian

        approaches, the techniques used by the Center is Bible based. There are

        hundreds of therapeutic approaches used to ameliorate personal/social

        problems.  GTM uses proven methods of communication and strategies for

        effecting changes. 

 

        We believe that the most appropriate and effective agent of change is the Holy

        Spirit working in the believer's life. Prayer, both intercessory and individually,

         changes things when it coincides with the will of God and in the name of Jesus.

      

         The Center will be most effective in its helping efforts when the person seeking

          assistance is one who professes belief in Jesus Christ and the inerancy and in

          fallibility of the Holy Bible.
