The LISTENING CENTER is an outreach of Grace Tabernacle Ministries (GTM) and is a 501.c.3 tax-exempt organization. Until 2011 we were registereed as a  Florida not-for-profit corporation since 1983. We desire to serve you and your loved ones to the glory of God.   The Director is well able by experience and formal training to intervene in a positive results-oriented manner. 

 

We are a cost-free consulting service involved in individual evangelism, Bible studies, and home-based consultations relating to family life and specifically parent-child relationships.  As a spiritual ministry, Grace Tabernacle Church engages in  open-air preaching and congregate feeding of the homeless in our city.  We visit the sick, those in jails, feed and clothe the hungry and provide a wide variety of services including transportation and job-related assistance to the homeless.  The Church is faithful to the Great Commandment to Go and preach the Good News and make disciples for Christ.  It has been in the mission field for over thirty years.  The Director is ordained as a Christian pastor and a certified Pastoral Counselor.

 

The ministry has never asked for any offering of goods or money, unless so directed by the Holy Spirit, and all services are cost-free. The Director/Pastor serves without compensation of any kind. Contributions are made payable to the church and are not tax deductible when such is designated for the Director/Pastor in providing consultative service. He pays taxes on such revenues. Contributions are based on Market Value (MV) as a guide to giving. A receipt will be given indicating, 'Consultation'.  Gifts may be designated for use by the church in their outreach programs.  Such gifts are welcomed and will be directed for those purposes only.  

 

Services will not be denied on an inability to pay.  No record will be kept concerning the services given so that the person receiving such services is assured of complete confidentiality and anonymity. Absolutely no reports will be given to anyone concerning your identity or the services for which you have applied.  Testimonials and word of mouth commendations are always in order and are deeply appreciated.  Contributions for these services are given to the Director through the church for which he pays income tax. Method of contributions to be determined.  

 

This service is Biblically based for those professing believers in Jesus Christ.  All are invited to partake of the teachings offered by the Center.  However, those asking for our services must be prepared to be examined in the faith and to give their personal testimony of their faith in Jesus Christ.  We do not offer any clinical services nor accept clients presently in a professional relationship with others. We do not dispense any medication nor invite others seek our services without the the consent of those who are presently treating them for non-organically based illness.  

 

We aspire to strengthen each person's confidence and joy in Jesus Christ - at every point in their life, and encourage personal and spiritual growth through prayer, Bible study and active service in our church and community.
